How to earn money on line? That is the age-old question. You need to earn money on line without a large investment because you want to earn money not spend it.
When you enter the world of online business you are inundated with every scheme known to mankind. It is very difficult not to fall for all the smooth talk and hype. This course will help me make money, I’m sure.
Three year ago, no make that 3 and 1/2 years ago, still wet behind the ears, I ventured into the world of internet marketing.
What a rude awakening. There are so many shysters out there it is unbelievable!
I didn’t want to become wealthy, I just wanted to help out my handicapped daughter and add a little extra to my income. Plus give me something to do in my spare time.
I did not realize how many different ways there was to make money on line and how many truly great programs there were to take my hard-earned money out of my pocket with no return.
I got involved with a couple of scams, but being very frugal, I was very careful after getting burned a couple of times. I have worked too hard all my life to give my money away.
Research
You can Google “making money on line” and you can find many different avenues to research. Here are a few that I found:
Amazon – Kindle Books
Google AdSense
You Tube- Video Ads
Sell Apps on I-tunes
Elance- write for others
Ebay – sell items on ebay
Instagram – sell photos
Become a blogger
Amazon Associates – Promote item and receive a commission
Etsy – Sell your crafts and your designed jewelry
That is just a partial list of the many different avenues to explore.
My first choice was affiliate marketing, as it seemed the easiest to learn, so that’s where I put my energy.
After getting stung a few times, I decided to try to get something going, spending very little if any money!
That’s when I decided to start researching every shiny program shoved under my nose and also look at all the reviews available for that product.
It was amazing how many are not worth the time to look at them, say nothing about investing my hard earned money.
One course in particular I invested a little money in (over $200.00) and after reading some comments I was shocked.
Some people had lost all their savings, some were handicapped, without a job and the stories just went on and on.
I did not believe people could be so heartless.
I was beginning to think that the whole thing was a scheme and there wasn’t really any way to earn money without an investment and paying for at least advertising and clicks.
Then came the light
I finally found a few courses that were very inexpensive to buy and with little investment to get up and running.
You could use a free website program and work off of that and get free traffic also. But try to work with those formats.
And the next thing you know they are sold out to another company and you have to start all over again or they are closed down.
That happened to me twice. I bought a course, granted it was not very expensive, after working with it for a couple of months, it was closed down and the site was up for sale.
I didn’t realize even though I had purchased this course, they could just shut it down. Doesn’t seem very ethical? I thought I had purchased it and it was mine.
Why I didn’t quit, I don’t know, except I had invested so much time that I wasn’t ready to give up just yet.
There had to be a light at the end of the tunnel. Plus I’m retired so I had plenty of time.
I did learn a lot, especially what not to do.
I was trying to earn money with little or no investment, because I did not want to get in over my head with PPC etc.
About 2 years ago I came across Wealthy Affiliate, which I joined for the free membership. I did not want to pay for a premium membership so I didn’t follow through and study their program.
So I didn’t do anything with my membership back then.
I just kept looking at many different avenues without any success.
I purchased a domain and hosted a website on weight loss and worked on getting that up and running.
That was fun, when you don’t know what you are doing. There’s a first time for everything.
Trying to get a website up and running is not an easy task, at least not for me. Wish I had found Wealthy Affiliate then.
Then in my online travels I came across Wealthy Affiliate again. I decided to check it out one more time , as I was already a member.
I think their format had changed. There is so much more information available and free membership offered so much more.
I worked with the site for several days and decided this was the best place to be, so I joined the premium membership and got right in and started with Affiliate Bootcamp. I am so glad I did.
